| Main QuickLaunch features |
- Integrate in the Windows' contextual menus - you can
right-click on web-pages, files or folders to add them to your QuickLaunch
list.
- Customize QuickLaunch shortcuts - Using "easy to use" configuration dialog you
can add three types of shortcuts: shortcuts to programs or commands, shortcuts to webpages or shortcuts to
folders and drives.
- Display tasks into your QuickLaunch menu - The purpose
of the tasks is to group a few application and run them all
together at once based on a time setting. Also you can
display the tasks into the QuickLaunch menu so it comes more
easily for you to launch more complex tasks (like openning
one page or applcation) just with one click.
- Customize start up apllications and services - QuickLaunch allows you to add,
edit or remove the applications and services that launch at start up. You can do that for your windows profile, for
all profiles or just other windows user profile.
- Customize hotkeys - It might
come handly for you to have access to QuickLaunch menu from any application you are using. You can
define a hotkey for that. If you hit that hotkey it will popup the QuickLaunch menu at the possition of your
mouse on the screen.
- Customize layout - You can select the layout of the QuickLaunch menu. There are 13 themes available like default Windows XP,
LongHorn, Tristan and so on.
- Browse folders - If you add a folder type shortcut to QucikLaunch menu you can browse its content or launch any file from this folder
or subfolders directly from its submenu.
- Built in dialer - QuickLaunch comes with a built in
dialer. Using this,
QuickLaunch can connect your comptuter
to the internet or disconnect it.
- Built in scheduler - Launch any program, display any
dialog, play sounds, check for new emails all can be
scheduled. Launch any task daily at a specified hour,
between intervals, only weekdays, all months (except
months) at a date and hour, just on a specified
date.
- Reminder - QuickLaunch can
display a dialog that reminds you something. To this
reminder you can assign any sound you want, so it will pay to
your attention even if you are not on the desk.
- Notify
you when new emails arrive- QuickLaunch is also able to
check your POP3 email accounts. When a new email
arrives you'll see a popup window
that notifies you. Popup window displays the sender email
address and name,and also the email subject and the recipient.
